I played quarterback at the Division I level, so I understand how important proper development is early on. I also come from an executive background in tech where preparation, leadership, and decision-making matter. I evaluated Reid through that same lens before we started working together. My son, Ryan, has been a starter on varsity since his freshmen year. He met Reid during his sophomore year of high school. What he needed wasn't someone to build him from scratch. He needed someone invested in him as a person. The mechanical work has been very valuable. However, what stood out is how Reid prepared Ryan for the big moments. Going into Elite 11 Finals, they visualized the first night before Ryan ever stepped onto the field. He went out and performed exactly like they'd prepared for. Ryan came in ranked lower than most of the guys there. He competed against the best quarterbacks in the country, and made the Elite 11 as one of the top 11 in the nation. Reid didn't need to make a big production of his involvement. Ryan knew he had someone in his corner who understood what the moment required. For a parent who has tried hard not to over coach his own son, watching someone else pour into him, and watching Ryan respond to it, has been magical. I highly recommend considering Reid for any parent who wants a holistic approach to playing the QB position.

Rising Tide and Coach Reid does an excellent job of coaching all facets of being a quarterback. It is awesome to have someone coaching of such high caliber, high character, great experience, and ability to relate to my son. Reid teaches a strong understanding of "Football IQ", considering offensive schemes, defensive looks, etc. He focuses on the ability to read the field, finding receivers and making good decisions. My son is getting professional coaching on mechanics of arm throwing, body positioning, footwork, etc. This then transitions to accuracy, arm strength and ball positioning for good decisions. They also work on mobility and athleticism. Coach Reid also takes into account my son's current HS coach's offensive scheme, and can help tailor work to this offense and also help on the IQ level. Importantly, Reid also works with my son on the mental aspects of the game and helping build confidence, communication skills, maturity, and leadership skills. As a dad, I'm so proud to have Reid in my son's life, not only as a coach, but most importantly, as a life skills mentor.
